Your day to day

  • Maintain constant quality control of Food and Beverage presentation and standards throughout the outlets i.e. glassware, food service, stock rotation. 
  • Ensure detailed knowledge of the current wine and food menus, including abbreviations. Comprehensive knowledge of corporate and in house promotions 
  • Maintain and improve defined standards of both food and beverage service delivery. 
  • Continually review feedback in conjunction with Restaurant and Bar Manager to refine service delivery with the aim to exceed guest expectations. 
  • Maintain a focus in training and development of all team members, to ensure a highly skilled and motivated team. 
  • Implementation of promotional activities to maximise the generation of revenue. 
  • Establish close working relationship with the Head Chef, Kitchen Brigade and other departments, to ensure effective communication, and delivery of food products is up to standard. 
  • Ensure requisitions are filled out correctly to meet operational needs. 
  • Ensure par levels are in place for all replacements and supplies. 
  • Timely and accurate administration. 

What we need from you

  • Service focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage
  • Experience in a similar role with exposure to leading, motivating and developing others is desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Available to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Strong Coffee, Food and Beverage knowledge
