Executive Assistant

As an Executive Assistant to the General Manager, you’ll provide a high-level administrative support, managing schedules, preparing reports, handling communications, and coordinating meetings. You’ll act as a liaison between the GM and other departments, ensuring smooth operations. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage sensitive information discreetly.

 

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different at IHG, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Providing high-level administrative support and assistance to the General Manager and/or other assigned leadership team members.
  • Performing clerical and administrative tasks, including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff.
  • Arranging travel and accommodations for the General Manager and/or other assigned leadership team members.
  • Scheduling and attending meetings on behalf of executives, taking notes, and recording minutes.
  • Receiving incoming communications or memos on behalf of senior staff, reviewing content, determining importance, and summarizing and/or distributing them to the appropriate staff.
  • Performing office tasks, including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and handling basic bookkeeping.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by executives.
  • Carrying out other related duties as assigned.

 

 

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
  • Able to type minimum of 50 words per minute.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
