This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage the Branded Residences growth strategy for IMEA, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities. We are looking for someone who can update and define the plan
Update and refine the plan annually (or as needed) to incorporate emerging trends, competitive insights, and market shifts.

Your day to day

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead and manage the BR growth strategy for IMEA, ensuring alignment with business goals and market opportunities. Develop and Lead Growth Strategy:
  • Formulate and implement a comprehensive Branded Residences (BR) growth strategy for the IMEA region.
  • Update and refine the plan annually (or as needed) to incorporate emerging trends, competitive insights, and market shifts.

Market Analysis & Monitoring:

  • Monitor real estate trends, including sales, pricing, development dynamics, costs, and ROI within target markets.
  • Stay informed about new development areas and evolving market opportunities.

Owner Network & Business Development:

  • Build and maintain a robust owner network with a proactive strategy to approach and engage potential partners.
  • Introduce IHG’s brands to prospective owners and develop market-specific BR strategies aligned with each brand's offering.

Opportunity Identification & Deal Execution:

  • Identify and evaluate new BR opportunities through market analysis and site visits.
  • Structure, negotiate, and successfully close residential transactions while building and nurturing relationships with hotel owners.
  • Understand the different available structure in branded residences and legal possible structure in the respective markets 

Oversee Development Process:

  • Manage all aspects of the BR development process, including legal, design & engineering, branding & marketing, finance, and operations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless execution at every development stage.Document Negotiation & Risk Management:
  • Negotiate and finalize key residential agreements, including the Residential Marketing License Agreement, Supervisory Services Agreement, and Trademark License Agreement.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on minimizing risk based on experience with other residential projects.
  • Review and offer feedback on Shared Services Agreements and Rental Agreements, ensuring key terms are properly represented.

Develop the Sales and Marketing Strategy:

  • Collaborate with the owner to design a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy for the branded residences.
  • Oversee and monitor the implementation of the strategy done by Onwer, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Safeguard the integrity of IHG’s brands throughout the process and work towards executing a successful strategy that ensures the project’s success.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with the Managing Director (MD) of IMEA and Vice President of Development (VPD) and to drive growth across the region.
  • Partner with the Investment Analysis (IA) team to assess the financial feasibility of projects and ensure alignment with IHG’s value dynamics.
  • Manage the owner application and deal contracting process in partnership with the legal team.

Internal Approvals & Investor Engagement:

  • Oversee the internal approval process and present projects to relevant committees.
  • Prepare pitch documents and present investment opportunities to stakeholders and investors

Required Education, Experience, Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education 
  • 15+ years real estate or development, hospitality luxury 
  • Experience in sales and in depth understanding of real estate markets
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Experience in engaging cross-functional working partnerships in a global organization 
  • Strong decision making and analytical skills with clear understanding of impact on IHG revenue
  • Strong people and enterprise leadership skills
