The InterContinental Hotels Group® properties in Dubai Festival City consist of four hotel brands. These include the luxury brand InterContinental, the superior upscale Crowne Plaza, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale Holiday Inn & Suites. A little taste of your day-to-day

  • Maximise total revenue by fully utilising the IHG’s systems and best practices, in line with Global Brand Service/Revenue Management specifications, including Concerto, Opera, N2P, BI tools, e-commerce interfaces, etc.
  • Generate actionable insights through predictive analytics and real-time reporting, enabling the commercial team to make proactive, data-driven decisions that enhance competitiveness and profitability.
  • Lead change management initiatives across the cluster to adapt to evolving market trends, implementing innovative revenue strategies with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Support Hotel Managers, the Food & Beverage team, the Sales & Marketing team, and the Revenue team in executing and developing effective revenue and pricing strategies and plans to ensure RevPAR, RGI, Enterprise Contribution, and Total Revenue objectives are met (including, but not limited to, Rooms, Banqueting, Restaurants, and Bars).
  • Responsible for leading the budgeting and planning processes for the cluster, and for ensuring ongoing accurate forecasting of revenues, aiming for a delivery accuracy of +/- 3%.
  • Implement brand and regional pricing strategies, yield strategies, selling strategies, and revenue management best practices, while balancing the needs of the hotels.
  • Support the Commercial Director in developing and implementing contracting guidelines for all negotiated business.
  • Review the targets set for the Sales and Revenue functions to ensure they align with business requirements and objectives.
  • Provide pre- and post-campaign analytical support for all marketing campaigns to ensure an appropriate return on investment.
  • Understand and share insights on economic and market conditions, and competitor practices to inform appropriate decisions that drive performance.
  • Conduct annual revenue management audits with the Revenue Performance Director for all revenue-generating departments.
  • Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Responsible for driving all revenue-related meetings and preparing all analytics to support performance.
  • Innovate and introduce new ideas to maximise overall hotel revenue.
  • Carry out any other duties or tasks as directed by the Area General Manager that assist and support hotel operations.
  • Ensure the brand is central to all decision-making.
  • Foster a diverse and inclusive environment by supporting team development, encouraging collaboration across diverse backgrounds, and ensuring equal opportunities for growth within the revenue and reservations teams.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate hotel goals and strategies to all levels of the hotel team.
  • Responsible for recruiting, onboarding, developing, and leading the revenue team, following the IHG Annual Performance Review process.
  • Create, monitor, and support individual development and succession plans for direct reports, maintaining a progress record for each colleague.
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline the revenue team, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Motivate the team to work in line with "The Winning Ways" when interacting with customers and colleagues.
  • Develop the salesmanship and customer service skills of the Reservations team, and team members from any department handling reservations.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives by reviewing and refining processes and systems, encouraging innovation in revenue management strategies to stay ahead of market trends.
  • Communicate and correspond with both internal and external partners professionally, with respect and understanding.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain an excellent working knowledge of various PMS, CRS, revenue systems, and reports.

What we need from you

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in Revenue Management, with at least 2 years in a multi-unit or regional environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of IHG systems is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of disseminating and presenting complex information in a simplified format.
  • Strong administrative abilities.
  • A strong customer-focused approach.
  • Proven leadership competencies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both small and large groups, and at all levels of the organisation.
