At Crowne Plaza Auckland we are looking for a Chef de Partie to work in our kitchen team to deliver delicious food around the busy hotel that we have!

Your day to day

We are so much more than what is pointed in the Job Description...expand beyond the words listed...we want you to! This is your opportunity to be creative!

  • Assist in the management of Kitchen Operations in a single food and beverage outlet or a shift, or section of food and beverage operations;
  • Menu planning & costings;
  • Organizing special events;
  • Developing new dishes;
  • Maintaining food quality standards and comprehensive product knowledge.

What we need from you

  • 3 years experience as a Chef and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity or equivalent;
  • Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Culinary Skills or related field;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a la carte and banquet service with modern and classical cooking techniques;
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating;
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel.
