Breakfast Chef de Partie

Your role, behind the scenes, will be pivotal in upholding our unwavering commitment to excellence, preserving our standards, and orchestrating the harmonious flow of our kitchen operations.

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Organize and set up breakfast station, ensuring all ingredients and equipment are readily available.
Creating and reviewing the breakfast menu and daily specials, making sure you understand the recipes and presentation standards.
Preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes according to established recipes and guest preferences.
Paying close attention to presentation, garnishing dishes with precision and creativity to enhance visual appeal.
Leading the collaboration with the kitchen team and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Supporting and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed, providing guidance and training to maintain a high level of performance

What We need from you:
Commercial cookery certification and ideally you will have worked with a food safety system such as HACCP.
5 years’ experience in a culinary role with  one year in a supervisory capacity; preferably in a hotel or luxury restaurant environment and specialising in breakfast cuisine.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, enthusiasm to learn new things and above all, a can do attitude.
Proficiency in preparing a wide range of breakfast dishes with precision and creativity.
Willingness to support and mentor junior staff as necessary.
Eligibility to live and work in Australia.
