Located in the business and leisure hub of the city, InterContinental® Bahrain offers its guests the perfect location from where to explore the exciting face of Manama. The hotel offers 304 spacious rooms including 4 club floors and 36 luxurious suites. Each room is designed to meet the needs and the expectations of the modern traveler. A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Proficient in restaurant service professional skills, and able to quickly solve unexpected problems
• Strictly implement hygiene standards to ensure that food products meet health standards and company requirements
• Striving to make every meal truly memorable for our guests by serving up high standards with our signature flare
• Supervise and maintain service delivery to brand standards and hotel goals
• Identify and adjust staffing levels, filling workforce gaps for upcoming shifts
• Ensure event spaces are maintained and presented in such a way that they are ’always on show’
• Monitor the work environment to ensure a safe workplace
• Taking on ad-hoc duties to keep the service running smoothly

What we need from you

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Banquet/Events or Restaurant/Bar or related positions, preferably within a hotel/hospitality environment
• Strong supervisory skills and good interpersonal relationships.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills with great attention to detail
• The flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts 
• Compliance with local laws on food handling and serving alcohol  
• Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to
