That’s why we’re looking for a Banquet Captain who is confident in leading a team to deliver exceptional service, ensuring every event runs smoothly and our guests leave with smiles on their faces.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Leading the banquet team with a focus on delivering impeccable service for every event, from setup to breakdown
- Coordinating with event planners, chefs, and other staff to ensure all guest needs are met and expectations exceeded
- Supervising the service team, ensuring all staff are following protocols and providing the highest level of service
- Managing the flow of events, ensuring that timelines are adhered to and guests are attended to promptly
- Ensuring banquet rooms are set up and cleaned according to event specifications, keeping everything organized and efficient
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues that arise during events with a professional and positive attitude
- Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment, including monitoring food safety standards and alcohol service compliance
What we need from you
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) as needed, which may also require bending and kneeling
- Strong communication skills – you’ll need to be clear, welcoming, and approachable with both guests and team members
- A great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, ensuring everything runs smoothly even in high-pressure situations
- The flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for events
- A thorough understanding of event procedures and safety guidelines, especially related to food handling and alcohol service

The hourly pay rate for this role is $17.25. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k, and many other benefits to eligible employees.
