Your day to day

 As the Assistant Manager - Events Operations, you'll collaborate closely with the Director of Events Operations to oversee the elegant and sophisticated aspects of our evening services and luxury events. Your role will centre on crafting an exceptional ambience that motivates our team to deliver a refined and luxurious experience, ensuring each guest enjoys a truly memorable and inspiring occasion.

 

This dynamic position involves coordination with all hotel departments, requiring a polished presentation, a deep passion for high-end service, and a proactive leadership approach. Your focus will be on creating seamless, opulent experiences that elevate our evening services to new heights of elegance, excellence and efficiencies.

What we need from you

To succeed as Assistant Manager – Events Operations you will need:

  • Previous Events or High-End Restaurant operational experience is ESSENTIAL for this role
  • Previous experience within a luxury hotel environment and similar upscale events venue
  • Strong Food and Beverage service skills and product knowledge.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a passion for striving for excellence
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that will see you develop a strong rapport with clients, guests and colleagues
  • A collaborative leadership style with a passion for inspiring, training and developing a team
  • A confident, proactive and thorough problem solver, with strong conflict-resolution skills
  • The innate ability to remain calm under pressure when responding to last-minute changes
  • Full unrestricted Australian Working Rights
