Join the world's largest family of luxury hotels as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager at InterContinental® Melbourne the Rialto, located on iconic Collins Street in Melbourne’s CBD. We are seeking an experienced F&B leader and passionate foodie with an entrepreneurial flair to manage our F&B department. At the heart and soul of any hotel is its food and beverage service, and we need someone with a big heart and lots of soul to lead the way. We pride ourselves on creating sophisticated, memorable experiences for our guests and are looking for a dynamic individual to lead our food and beverage operations.
Annual salary - $82,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager and Executive Chef to craft menus that align with our brand and budget and most of all to what will delight our guests.
- Ensure seamless operations by working closely with other departments.
- Manage and mentor the F&B team, setting performance and development goals.
- Control budgets and expenses, focusing on food, beverage, and labour costs.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
What We Need from You:
- 3+ years of management experience in a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred).
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with a passion for team development.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
