岗位职责/职位描述

Under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage or delegate, and within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group Policies and Procedures, assists in overseeing and directing all aspects of the Food and Beverage operation. Assists the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef in all responsibilities, to replace them in their absence and to assist in any of the outlets or banquets when necessary.

Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control costs and expenses with a focus on food and beverage cost monitor, labor management and breakage/spoilage/loss control.

参与准备部门年度预算与财务计划,重点通过监控食品酒水成本,控制人力成本,控制破损、丢失、报废和各项费用。

Assists in the identification of market needs for both hotel guests and the local market.

协助分辨酒店住客和当地市场的市场需求。

Outlet in bringing all Outlet Managers, Chefs and the Banquet Sales Manager up to date with market needs and trends and ensuring that their product meets these requirements.

Assists in monitoring and analyzing the activities and trends of competitive restaurants, bars and other hotel banqueting departments.

Monitors local competitors and compare their operation with the hotel Food and Beverage operation

Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance.

Assist each manager in planning and implementing effective training programs for their respective associates, in conjunction with the Training Manager and Departmental Trainers

Assists each Outlet manager in maximizing productivity and associate morale and in maintaining discipline

Assists the Director of Food and Beverage in developing popular menus and beverage list offering guests’

value for money in accordance with IHG guidelines.

Assists the Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef in monitoring service and Food and Beverage standards. To work with the Outlet Managers, Banquet Service Manager and Outlet Chefs to take corrective action where necessary.

Assists the Director of Food and Beverage in keeping an up-dated Hotel Policies and Procedures file and up-dated files on all Food and Beverage matters

Maintains knowledge of trends, systems, practices and equipment in food and beverage through trade literature, hotel show and site visits

岗位要求

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in Hotel Management, culinary arts, or related field plus 4+ years of related experience, including management experience. Must speak local language. Must obtain certifications or permits as required by local governmental agencies.

酒店管理、烹饪或相关专业学士及以上学历或同等资历,4 年以上相关工作经验含管理经验。必须掌握本地语言。必须持有本地政府部门规定的证书或许可证。

Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
